  • Keeping Children and Young People Safe in Manchester

Working with RECLAIM and Young Manchester, Collective Discovery designed a participatory process where young people in Manchester affected by serious youth violence explored current responses to their needs and deeper root causes. The process was designed to inform a new approach to keeping children and young people safe in the city. A key element was bringing young people together with key professionals from across the city to share their perspectives and design more effective approaches. The ‘Listening to the Experts’ report was used to inform a shared goals toolkit which informs funding decisions in the city in this area. (Project team: Cecillia Makonyola & Jenny Ross)
